I guess I suffer from the curse of being mediocre......

don't do anything real bad

don't do anything real good.

I do OK with 1 shot, 1 hole groups.......

[Linked Image]

Seems I've never been able to shoot 3 or 5 or 10 shot 1 hole groups even once, much less all day!

Sometimes I come close to missing the target these days!

I guess that comes with being an old fart!

Quien Sabe,

IMHO,

I don't know the man other than what he posts here, but he seems to be the real deal.

To boot, he hunts with the Texas Predator Posse, and his photos are the truth.

and as R.Lee Ermy sez!

I'd say the man is one you could ride the river with.

I didn't say he is a bad guy, I just know some people are really good with keyboard rifle shots.

Kinda like those 2700 yard prairie dog shots I used to read about in varmint Hunter magazine.

Not my gig, but what the hey, everybody's gotta be somewhere!

I give the benefit of the doubt to most folks that post here.

If they are not being truthful, that does not hurt me as posting here is not a zero-sum game.

If they are prevaricating, for the most part, the only one they are hurting is themselves.

It's one thing to fool others. Its another thing to fool yourself.

I figure I've impressed my share, and with the exception of the black bird at 200 yds. plus, all up close and personal!

1. Have you followed lapuah’s posts?

2. I have but I don’t know him. IMO the evidence is on his side.

What’s our saying here ? No pictures, didn’t happen.
He’s got lots of pix.

Food for thot.

Being born in '51, as a yonker I read everything I could get my hands on about the P-38 Lightnings, Grumman Hellcats, F4U Corsairs and the P-51 Mustangs and the guys that flew them.

Me too !

Us, we do the best with what we Have.

Mostly using old, or inexpensive equipment & really only interested in cold bore shot predictability.

But we do eat a lot of fish & game meat !

grin

By the way, I'll take take Lapua at his word. Done nothing to make me think otherwise & certainly has the equipment for me to know he is serious about shooting, particularly target shooting.

OMMV

Cheers Lapua !

I started collecting Single shot Coopers models 21, 22 and 38 in the mid to late nineties. I've owned well over two dozen. In fact I have only owned one Cooper repeater.

I was able to snag this Cooper M-21 Varmint Extreme for a very reasonable price. It was incredibly and boringly accurate. I luved shooting it off a good rest at the bench. As it did not have a cheek piece I could shoot it right handed with aplomb. As I mentioned earlier. I really got into being able to hook my right hand over the scope and lift the bolt with my right thumb and use my left hand to take a cartridge out of the container and place it in the feed ramp.

ya!

Pretty good shooting, for a canon Ken !

Low left starter, next left adjusted for vertical & horizontal adjustment for final 3 shots ?
