OK so I have a bunch of expensive brass which are once fired in my original FACTORYchamber. They will not chamber in my new AFTERMARKER Krieger barrel.

I tried to resize the brass to the maximum point. I brought the ram to the highest position and screwed the FLR die flush to the shellholder PLUS a half turn.
Even then the brass will not chamber. I think it is a little too "fat" in front of the belt. Both chambers (old and new) are within SAAMI specs.
Can I do anything or just buy new brass?????????

TIA

Redding body sizing dies are great in this situation, just don’t use excessive lube.

I had one rifle I had to trim .0010 shorter than minimum case length so they would chamber.

All trimmed and full length resize. That's what I hate about it they're $4.25 each piece of brass and I already have like 80 90 of them but they're all useless

Trimming 0.001" shorter isn't much. Did you have to trim every time you reloaded?

New brass. Custom barrels will always be more critical in the chamber than factory, although I had 2 Weatherby Accumarks in 300 WBY and you couldn’t interchange once fired brass with them even though they were full length resized.

Weatherby also goes beyond standard pressures in their ammunition and that will make it harder to interchange brass...

If it's too large in front of the belt, there's only one die that will resize this area. Check out the belted magnum collet resizing die from Larrywillis.com. It helped me when I was trying to reuse some 7 mag brass between two rifles.

There is a special die that sizes all the way to the belt. I had the same problem with a 270 wby. I bought the die then resold it after I sized all my brass. They run about 100 bucks. Hasbeen
