I have a Skinner Folding Takedown Case, a 20" version. It has two main compartments, each 6x20 inches, though the length can be adjusted to 22" (if you don't mind the "tied-down car trunk" look). It fit a Browning SA 22 very well and I'm wondering what other firearms it would hold. The Marlin Papoose lists at 21", and the Ruger 10/22 Takedown with 16.12" barrel lists at 20", but can anyone confirm those?

(Also, if forum specifics aren't mandatory, any non-rimfire answers would be interesting, too.)

Ruger 10/22 take down fits fine. Much less bulky than the Ruger factory case.

Thanks for the confirmation, bobmn. I very much agree about the bulk difference.

The browning sa-22 short would be tight. They have 22 inch barrels.
