Anybody else notice the ad in the June Handloader about the new bonded Speer Impact bullets? Anyone have any specifics?

They announced them at the Shot show or around there and then nothing since. They must have been early in the process but wanted to announce it on the big stage.

Here is a thread where there is a bit of information on them. I'm a big Speer fan so am really looking forward to seeing them.

A little more info and what they will cost too. Sounds pretty reasonable for a premium design.

I assumed they went out of business. Speer bullets haven’t been on the shelves here in Saskatchewan for about 5 years.

It’s too bad, the Speer deep curl was one of the most accurate bullets, bar none, that I’ve ever tried.

Sounds like Deep Curl with a polymer tip.

I still have about 1500 .30 cal Deep Shocks and consider then the best bullets I have. I like them better than partitions for what I hunt. When I find something I like I have been known to hoard.

Cool. I’ll give them a go if they introduce some midweight options.

No .277 or .284 as they're coming out of the gate with this new product line!? What's the world coming to?
