Hi all,

I’m working up some 225 and 250 gr A-Frame loads for my .338 Winchester and was hoping that someone could provide me with some idea of how much bullet jump A-Frames like to start out with? Been loading for decades but I don’t have a Swift manual and at $65 for 50 bullets it wouldn’t hurt my feelings to find an optimal load with the first box.

Thanks. Some of you guys are great! 😉

Anything Swift I start out at .050" from the rifling and then work shorter in .025 increments. Works well for me. Some like around 50 and some will like as much as .125 worth of jump.

Good luck with em!

I've always loaded the 225 Aframes in my 338's the same jump as the Partitions and Hornadies- about .010 from the lands. Always had the same accuracy results and same POI as the Noslers and Hornadies also . The terminal results are just plain satisfying also....

There’s no replacement for experience and I really appreciate y’all allowing me to borrow a bit from time to time!

Great days to you!
