Thanks Elk, she's an old butt stomping stoner on whatever you hit with it, I knocked a pig into the others he was walking with, they scattered like bowling pins and were gone! grin

LOL, you bet Elk, that was my old 500gr Woodleigh load, the damn brush, leaves, dirt and debris made a hell of a chit cloud on the ground after that slug penetrated the pig, they were already nervous and spooled up coming in very cautiously, the BOOM sent them into full flight. grin cept for one ; ]

I was shooting the 500gr PP's, it's a protected point bullet that expands slower than the big bulbous headed round noses, never hit anything big with them, but would use on any African game save Ele brain shots, got a deal on a chit ton of 500gr Partitions, they should be that and then some, coupled with the 450gr BBW #13 solids at 2250 fps, and the squishy overdriven 350gr Woodleigh BPE bullets at 2600 should cover anything in Africa, including knocking the spots off a leopard.

BTW, I use H-335 for it and the partition for an easy 2150 fps without massive compression.

?Maybe I can help? If your phone will COPY your text ?

My i phone will "take a pic" of the text by.... pressing and holding the TOP button & the Bottom Center button OF the phone ** at the same time.***

It will CLICK and you can hear it. Then GO to you PIX (photo album on the phone) Your text pic SHOULD be there.
Then proceed as usual.

Hope that helps.

Jerry

PM’s sent to you digital gurus with my email address. Send me those pictures you guys are texting back and forth and I’ll post them. Assuming decent photo quality.

'09 Argentine in 280. It had a issue with primers backing out and miss drilled rear mounting holes and the rear receiver height was wrong. I sent to to Jim Kobe to address this and decided to update some cosmetic things. Also ended up having the wrong Timney trigger in it. It had excessive headspace thank goodness instead of lug set back. I need to repaint the Brown precision stock. I have not finished load development but it is showing promise. I need to pony up for a matte finish scope.
