I see maine is as stupid as colorado. This law is illegal too. its bound for the Supreme Court which will shoot it down... its contrary to what the framers of the Constitution had in mind... and notice how its always democRATs that want to change the Constitution when they don't get their way... FDR tried it with the Supreme Court, Woodrow Wilson did it.... I don't think the founders of the Constitution wanted parties like democRATs to exist....

The Dem/Comms actually "won" when they took over the education system in the country, because parents and conservatives were "too busy" to get involved. In the same way they took over the media.
Now we have a godless and uneducated bunch of "teachers" (so called) teaching us and our kids ---- and we wonder why the forces of evil are winning?
They win not because they are more powerful.
They win because we don't fight, and we don't take control of the schools again.

Schit needs to go the supreme court. How can states arbitrarily decide or modify federal election law format.. Buncha Liberal Socialist Democrat bullschit. Fugging 12 southern counties are basically greater Boston anyways. Where are you from in Maine? I grew up in Old Town and Milford. Left in the Fall of 83. Ain't never looked back.

I grew up in the Lewiston/Auburn area and went to school at Edward Little High. I have lots of relatives in southern Maine in the Biddeford/Saco area and some in the north near Dexter, use to be some damn fine deer hunting there back in the day. Mom now lives in Litchfield so that is my go to now.

Used to be a guy in town when I was a kid who regularly caught 40" + stripers right out of that old toilet bowl of rocks below the damn using big, live 2' eels at night hooked right through the lips. What was your class year at EL?

They aren't breaking any election law, how electors are allocated is up to the state. HOWEVER they MIGHT be in trouble with some sort of inter-state agreement type of angle. Regardless, nothing takes effect until enough states do it so that it guarentees the popular vote winner wins. then it kicks in and then it will get challenged.

"No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay." - Article I, Section 10, Clause 3 I'm pretty sure that it IS legal. There's no law regulating how a state chooses and uses it's EC votes.
