That barley pilaf came out killer. Will definitely do it again. I love Barley......gonna try making some.........soon! Yep crustless . I’m back on a low carb kick, I wintered a little to well this year.
That one was from a few days ago.
have another in the oven now. Used bell peppers,onion, garlic, mushrooms, sharp cheddar ,bacon and sausage and of course heavy cream and egg.
Hell I think about anything goes fine with egg pie.

Albers recipe, grandson helped get all ingredients ready and mix. We are watching it rise in his great great great grandmas 1940's CI Griswold skillet currently. Finally dug it out of the basement and halfassed cleaned and seasoned it. Been 20 years since we last used it. Garden is coming in! Fresh green beans and straight neck Yeller squash tonight. And a beefsteak from one of old son & DIL’s steers!!! Was good!
