Yeah, not sure why anyone would want to go from a 300 Win Mag to a 300 PRC? If you wanted to shoot the heavy bullets, try them in your WM. If they shoot, you're good to go. If not, you can check your twist rate. You would most likely need a 1~ 10 " or faster twist.
I wouldn't get all hung up on marketing hype.
I like higher BC bullets.
You need to make yourself happy.
