Individual tracks from Mile Davis:

Tine after Time, Off of You're Under Arrest and also I think the version where he was so sick, off of Time After Time

Stella by Starlight, with Coltrane from Classic Ballads

Miles runs the Voodoo Down, from Bitches Brew

The entire album Siesta. That is the sound track from the film Siesta, done with Marcus Miller. One of the worst films ever made even though it opens with a good looking naked woman.

Concierto De Aranjuez, The original arrangement for Miles by Gil Evans and the several variations.

Kind of Blue, the entire album.

Bitches Brew, the whole four CD set. It's hard to find but provides a lot of insight into the music

Porgy and Bess, The whole album.

Bob James and Gabor Szabo, Macho

Gabor Szabo and Charles Lloyd, from Live With Charles Lloyd, People

Louis Armstrong, St James Infirmary

Jimmy Smith, St James Infirmary

This is one of my favorites.

Have it on a flash drive and everyone who hears it starts tapping their feet or fingers and ask about the song.

I like the old stuff, but I've been listening to a lot of Postmodern Jukebox lately.

I do like a lot of the Postmodern Jukebox and Jazz ladies.

Don't I think it gets much better than Imogene Heap.

Here she is with Jeff Beck at Ronnie Scott's jazz club in London. That place is on my bucket list.

Okay, an honest question here. Why did you get on a thread where people are politely discussing and sharing a broad genre of music they like just to piss on it?

Would you like it if someone got on one of your threads about old rifles just to tell you what pieces of sh*t they are? Would you like it if someone got on a 270 thread for the sole purpose of telling you what a POS it is and how a 6.5 Creedmoor blows it out of the water in every way possible?

And if you wouldn't like that, why do you do it to others?

Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery.
Hit the target, all else is twaddle!
