mike r thanks gents! food is packed, pack is packed- all I have to do is hike/snowshoe a 100-ish miles will head up to the trailhead this afternoon; wife and Tiny E are going to spend the night w/ me and see me off tomorrow morning

got home last night at 1:30 AM as we had to drive all the way back around to retrieve a vehicle at the start finished in 57 hours, our route was 91 miles- about a fourth of that on snowshoes, about half of the miles in cold rain, survived several very sketchy fords, some very tough navigation (and fortunately only a couple of minor mistakes) and another very grand adventure under my belt
