I'm going to have a .473 bolt face opened up on a 700 Rem for Lapua 6.5x55 rims.

Is this a big deal or can most 'smiths handle it?

Any help is appreciated. Out of my wheelhouse

God Bless

The Lapua brass is made for a claw extractor, very narrow groove, and it's larger diameter. Lapua brass is great, but other brass will work fine in the Remington as is.

Thank you
Is the Norma brass the same way?

God Bless
