OP Steve692 Campfire Regular Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 673 Indiana	I'm going to have a .473 bolt face opened up on a 700 Rem for Lapua 6.5x55 rims. Is this a big deal or can most 'smiths handle it? WayneShaw Campfire Tracker W Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 4,215 VA	The Lapua brass is made for a claw extractor, very narrow groove, and it's larger diameter. Lapua brass is great, but other brass will work fine in the Remington as is.
