Santiam: Your wonderful photo reminds me so much of the many happy Steelhead fishing ventures I have been on in the Pacific Northwest!
Thank you for sharing and posting it.
Is that fish from the "Santiam" - I have never fished there but have fished the Willamette and the Deschutes there in Oregon.
I ran a Steelhead Fishing Guide Service for a few years and had visions of doing it full time once I "retired" but I chose to move myself and my family out of "taxington".
I do miss the Steelheading though (the only thing I miss about the Puget Sound area!).

They sure do look fat and healthy,Geno. It's all them "weeds" in my yard what makes 'em so plump! One man's weeds are another man's wildflowers are the deer's breakfast. I watched one munching down one of the flowers I left when I weed whacked the cheat grass the other day. That older one out back looked pretty full, maybe that's why he left the yard before the others and headed up the hill. Another dead bunny for you!
