Gentilemen,. While we mourn Tom. Let us take some solace in the fact that somewhere. He, Ken Howell, and Greg Cameron are sitting around a fire pointing and laughing at us. And probably casting their KOTY vote as well
RIP Tom Lol, there is not doubt!

I met him at the NM gatherings a time or two. A big, friendly guy who will certainly be missed by those closest to him.

Tom was truly a good man and a great father to his kids. I never met his wife, but he spoke of her as lovingly as he did his kids and watching him with his kids was a joy.
He loved life and was a good friend, so he had good friends. All of us who interacted with him will miss him greatly.
The words we can use to describe him are; honest, kind, caring, giving, loving, generous, strong, intelligent, witty, competent, curious, fun, imaginative, solid, and dependable. There are probably many more that others may think of, all good, I'm sure.
Rest in peace, Tom.
My prayers go out for his wife and kids.
Ed

I'm going to miss the little stuff... like Tom's facebook reports of Gigi's basketball games, pregame, halftime and post game.

RIP THOMASMAGNUM I never met him but did enjoy his entries here on the Fire over the years. Appears to have been a great guy. He certainly earned a lot of positive commentary on his character here. He is already missed.

Thomas was in top form that evening. This is the time we sprung Ken from the nursing home to have a burger on us - hauled him back to NM soon after this outing. This is one fine gang - pretty much the guys that started the very successful SW gatherings, along with Darby and soon a few more. Thanks guys - it's been great. Right to left... RIP Tom And Greg's probably cracked open a cold bottle of AlpenWolfe to share! i know where greg's current residence is, i keep saying i am gonna run by there, and his old homestead to pay my respects. tom liked working up those odd calibers, greg was interesting in that reguard too. he had a ruger old army. he had it loaded one day with a 400grain 45.70 load of pills. I asked him about the black powder load. answer was, as much as he could get in there back of that bullet. I still mean to try that one of these day. I have a mental image of tom one summer, in july, in his non cooled garage loading up some rifle ammo too.

I've heard of Greg's location, and if I ever get anywhere close - we'll have to have a visit. I miss him and his calls - a LOT.
