What can any of ya'll tell me about a S&W blankslide Horton Special? Guy in the neighborhood is trying to sell one, Haven't seen it yet only been told it's in good shape 45 cal no box .

Google Lew Horton. They had dozens of special run guns made by S&W and Colt. The Blue Book used to have a breakdown of Lew Horton models in the back with production numbers.

Thank you sir; I have looked him up , lots of stuff in a 10 old copy of Blue Book. It looks like he was one of the early players in the race gun busness.
