I know picture is worth 1000 words but I can't resize them.
I've got a Ithaca 37 featherlight in 16 ga 2 3/4" . 28" full choke. Game scenes engraved on both sides of the receiver. Wood and metal are both 90% Ballpark value, gunbroker has a range of sold listings. [img]http://[/img]g

My best guess. $400 to $450.
I hope it's more because I have one.

I just sold one with a 28" modified barrel for $300. It was probably in 80% condition. It sat on my rack for almost two years. I'm sure it would have gone faster had I put in online.

There are two different means of posting a pic. One is to upload via the file manager directly in the post. It makes a link at the bottom of the post once you finish. That's probably what you tried and it has a very restrictive size limit of 100K. The other is to post a reference link to a photo already uploaded to the internet, either via some hosting site like imgur or photobucket (I hate photobucket for several reasons) or via 24hourcampfire's image gallery. The Image Gallery is the best IMO.

Create a new thread in the Image Gallery forum. It also has a file manager where you can upload files. But the size limit is much better and you can load up to 15 images. I think each can be up to 8 mb.

Then you can either post a link to that thread in the Image Gallery in your Classified ad, or you can copy links to each photo that is in the Image Gallery thread and enclose them in the [img] [/img] tags within your post. You can either type those image tags as I have done, or you can use the img tag button icon [Linked Image] which is in the full editor menu when creating your post.

Thank you, I figured out how to add a couple

Love the old corncob 37's. I bought one here in the classifieds years back. Mine is a 12G 28"bbl MOD choke.

Model 37’s are very regional as far as price goes. Guesstimate $400

Very nice original Ithaca. Looks like a mid late 50’s gun. The plain, 28 in full choke barrel hurts its value however. My estimation for gun from that era in that configuration would also be $350-400. Imho, it will be difficult to command over 400.

Earlier guns with shorter barrels and more open chokes can bring quite a bit more. Again, in my experience.

Nice one!!! $350 since it’s got a full choke. $400 to $450 if it was a modified or improved cylinder version.
