JW,

where I hunt there is no power or water. Some idiots from the TWC or some other bureaucratic agency came up to the ranch and said they were worried about human feces from our outhouse contaminating the aquifer, so we had to get rid of our outhouse. Course there are only untold hundreds of cows, coyotes, deer, hogs, birds and other creatures doing their business every day. At least we always covered our offal with lime. Anywho, we have very few rules at the Petting Zoo, but one inviolable rule is, once you do your business and cover it up, you always dig a hole for the next feller', in case he gets caught short.
BTW, considering how rocky it is, a long handled pick or mattock works like a charm! Being the passive-aggessive critter that I am, sometimes I dig a shallow hole!

ya!

Yes, rocky ground would indeed make a difference. Where I hunt there are some rocks but mostly it's diggable with a shovel.
I have a G I, short, folding head, pick/shovel, that would work well for me.

I've had a porta potty that I used yrs. ago but your bedside potty w/armrests SANS the bottom is a great Idea. Thnx

What is the grass you're eating with the tomatoes? 😉
It looks like clover.

Had one of those handicapped/old folks seats for our camp outhouse for a while but guys kept falling over or pissing in their boots so we made a new one. Took a blue plastic barrel, cut it in half, and cut a hole and bolted down a toilet seat on top of it. Sets nice and steady and those fat fellers can't piss in their boots any more....
Great idea on the Mattox though. Seems like there is more rock than dirt most of the places we hunt....
