McWhorter 7mm08. I bet that tack driver is a pussycat to shoot with that brake on it. Excluding the extra noise of course. That's the first McWhorter I've seen that wasn't some kind of cannon like a 7mm STW a RUM's or a Phased Plasma Rifle in the 40 watt range. Thats a sweet rifle!

My wife likes the cabinets and countertops more than the rifle too! It is a pussycat to shoot with the brake, but I hate the noise they make. It shoots so good I just haven't messed with taking it off so I'll likely keep it on there. McWhorter makes some great rifles for sure.

My favorite is a little '74 Shiloh Sharps Montana Roughrider half round chambered in 40-65, with 400gr paper patch bullets I cast and patch myself, it has accounted for nine deer over the last couple years, something about blackpowder, paper patch bullets, and barrel sight hunting has hooked me hard.

I reach for this one way more than the rest...
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

Jerry, Sentimental favourite; The one I hunt most now, due to our crappy winter conditions; Other's in the rotation; Nothing fancy about any of our stuff, but it gets the job done !

It's really hard to say which one is my personal favorite. They're all my favorites or I wouldn't keep them, I guess. For now it's my Barrett Fieldcraft in 6.5x55 topped with a Swaro Z3. Runing a close second is my new Christensen Arms Mesa in 6.5 PRC topped with the Sig Whiskey 3 BDX system.
The lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part!

My personal favorite is the one I always grab when going hunting - a 700 chambered in 338-06.

The one I grab the most often is an old Ruger paddle stock in .300 WM. 180 TTSX at 2975 just seems to work well at the ranges I shoot (50-500).

Tough choice. Maybe a 'Redhead'? Rem 700, Fajen stock, Douglas barrel 25-06 with about 1200 rounds through it. Maybe it's the blonde? Rem 700 (first year for the 25-06), factory barrel, Fajen stock (again) with over 3000 rounds Maybe old school? Mod 94 Win in 30 WCF made in 1906. Lyman peep Then again, it could be a 'Brunette'? Win 70, Pac-nor barrel. 6.5x55 And don't forget those 'ladies' that like originality to their 'hair' styles MkX long action, Pac-nor barrel in 358 Win cerakoted in Forrest Green and Gold A person shouldn't have to be forced to choose just ONE favorite, should they?
