I have a Gen 3 Glock 20 SF. I really like the gun,the recoil feels lighter than a 1911 with comparable ammo in my opinion. The gun is lighter, holds more ammo, and is more pleasant to shoot than any 1911 that I know about.

I would give a hard look to the new Springfield Armory XD 10mm pistols, the one with the longer barrel and adjustable sights should be about perfect. I have a Springfield Armory XD in 45 that I like a lot.

The polymer frame pistols just make a better field pistol in my opinion. Lighter Weight, more pleasant to shoot, higher capacity, probably more reliable than any 1911 that hasn't been carefully tuned by a good smith.

FWIW Les Baer is making 10mm's again. They have a new model called the Kenai that looks exquisite. 5" barrel & hardchromed

I’ve been very happy with my 6” Springfield TRP 10mm with its trijicon rmr. They sell them without RMR and in both 5 and 6” variants. It did need a trip back to the mothership to polish the feed ramp but SA paid the freight both ways and I had it back in under 2 weeks.

Nice looking rig, MallardAddict. Continue to enjoy.

Has anyone played with the Armscor ROCK Ultra FS HC 10mm? I just noticed it and the couple reviews I saw were very positive.

I owned one and just sold it. BIG grip (bigger than it has to be) and the trigger left a lot to be desired in my opinion. Lots of capacity for sure but I'd rather have 9 or 10 rounds with a better trigger.

My G-20 with the RMR shoots this at 10yards.

I stopped load development when it grouped the top five.

Pretty happy how it shoots gold dots.
