I drove 10 hours to watch the Blues lay an egg in game 6. Afraid they lost their opportunity. None of their stars “showed up”. Is Schwartz even playing in this series? Defense turning the puck over in their own zone. Goalie giving up a soft goal? They have a lot of things to fix if they want a remote chance of winning it in Boston.
The big question is, will the Blues go back to their thuggish antics now that they are in a game 7, winner take all situation and no repercussions until next year? I think they will and it will ugly at the Garden.
Don't forget Binnington's record after a loss. And the Blues road record this postseason.
The refs unfortunately are going to be the deciding factor I'm afraid.

I imagine that the drink specials in Boston have already started. Game 7 will be one to remember, go B's!
Although for various reasons I'd prefer to see St Louis win, it's quite likely the damage to the area around Boston Gardens ( I like that name better than TD) will be less if the Bruins win.
I can almost picture the rioting, overturned police cars on fire, if Boston loses. ESPECIALLY if the refs blow another game changer type call.

Friend Geno, it's 'Garden', not 'Gardens', if I may. Common mistake. This is but one Bostonian's opinion, but win or lose, I don't think there'll be any rioting in the city after the game. Boston fans can get pretty rabid and all, but this is a town that is plenty familiar with the thrill of victory and agony of defeat, as it were. People will be in the streets one way or another, but burning cruisers and rioting? Nah. Not our style. Plus, if any nonsense like that starts, the BPD will without a doubt happily go old school. Most of those boys ain't afraid of putting wood and steel to any unruly clown brigade, especially right downtown. Go Bs!

And the Bruins record in elimination games, they are 4-0 this postseason.
Tukka's stats in elimination games are incredible.
Overall 4 games - (4-0) GAA - 0.75 Save % - .975 Shutouts - 2
Goalie duel then?
1-0 game?
My kind of HOCKEY!

It sure as hell has NOTHING whatsoever to do with baseball or football.

It's the award that the winners get after a competition played on frozen water. You folks have your gaudy dinner plate sized belt buckles and bejeweled saddles for rodeo champs. Same idea.

k_g,
How's the weather over there on the E Coast? And your lovely wife is doing well, you guys are eating tasty foods, and the dogs get to go to the beach on occasion, right?
Apologies for the plurality in the name. Mea culpa.
Yeah, I'm sure some of those Boston po-po's would love to instill some respect for authority in any hooligan that gets in the way of order. Especially some of those 3rd and 4th generation Irish coppers. I'm sure the city will do fine. Some of the drunker fans might torch a few trash receptacle, win or lose. Let's all hope for peaceable celebrations.
Wishing you a happy summer, whichever team wins.
