So what did you do with the Benchmade.
These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

All my benchmade knives are going into the knife collection bucket.... very different than the bayonet bucket, that is taller and uglier.

I think you'll like the manix. I have one and find it super easy t o carry and it holds an edge well.

I'll not be buying any new Benchmade knives, at least until they change their ways, but I damn sure am not going to discard or trash the ones I have. Just too good to toss, especially when tossing them would not change anything.

That top knife isn't a Manix. It is a Para Military 2. The PM2 is a fantastic knife, easily one of my favorites.

I went with the Ontario RAT1 & RAT2...
hard to believe it but they are built better, and cost less than Benchmade... Someone at the blade forum recommended them ... they knew what they were talking about.

I like Spyderco better anyway. The Ontario Rat knives are pretty good for a sub $30 knife, but not nearly the same quality as Benchmade or Spyderco.
But FWIW the Benchmade debate is overblown. They assisted local LE to destroy guns confiscated in crimes that a Judge ordered to be destroyed. I don't see where that makes them anti gun. I see a local business assisting LE to do a job.
The top knife in the OP looks an awful lot like the PM-2, not a Manix.

Here is MY REAL pic. I have fluorescent pink duck tape so I can find it when I drop it. Benchmade founder and CEO Les de Asis is a liberal male that makes political contributions to anti gun democrats.
