Zero Hedge say there is a big recession starting? Economy is slowing down. Gold is going up. Is this the deep state way to defeat President Trump? Throw the economy into chaos and the country into chaos?

Of course there's gonna be another recession. It's a matter of "when".

Liberals have been trying to crash it nine ways to Sunday ever since Trump took office.

Zero Hedge always says there’s a recession coming and buy gold ! As someone in the trucking business I can tell you that February through mid May was slower than last year but still pretty good and that it has picked up the last few weeks. Last year was ridiculously good and I thought unsustainable and that is proving to be true but this year is far from slow just not as good as last spring.

Technically, it's about time for a recession. But I doubt it.

I believe the prognosticators are over-weighting the effect of tariffs because conventional wisdom says trade wars are lose/lose for everyone.

I believe the disruption of supply lines by the tariffs will slow things down, but I think our economy will come out of it stronger.

I do suspect that gigantic, anonymous players are trying to disrupt the market by using money they control to amplify every down-swing. But the market keeps bouncing back because the strength is real.

Then again, I know nothing.

Many of the cement plants on the east coast are pretty much sold out for the year. Some of this is due to pent up demand from excessive rain last fall and winter. Some is also due to significant breakdowns at key, large facilities. Nonetheless, business is pretty darn good, at the moment.

It might slow but i think we are good for a while yet.

Just wait till the next run by the dems,then worry.
