After 4 years of "NOT SUCCESSFUL", my three buddies and I drew a buck tag for Wyoming this fall. We were still unsuccessful for doe/fawn. That's ok with me because one antelope is good enough, even though I like to pull the trigger. We will converge on Wyoming from PA, VA and CA and do some hunting and fishing in the Green River, outside of Pinedale, WY. Can't wait until Sept. donsm70

2 doe/fawn tags for me.
If everyone got what they applied for we'll have 7 or 8 total.
Fun time for the family.

Two of my group only put in for one doe tag each, but all four of us got all we applied for, 6 doe/fawn total. We will be hunting private land for the most part, taking them out of the crop circles. The ranchers don't ask us for money but we give them $50 a head anyway. Most come from one rancher's fields so he makes out pretty well.

Good luck. BP

Couple friends and I got doe tags in our first year applying. I was pretty surprised. depending on the area, doe tags are pretty easy to come by. In the last three years my group has applied for something like 18-20 doe/fawn tags and had 100% success. Several years ago, though, all the guys got theirs and none of the women got any. Before that year, I think we were 100% successful. My preference is does over bucks. We see plenty of wall-hanger bucks but at, $326, non-resident licenses are almost 10x the $34 cost of doe/fawn tags. I opt for two doe/fawn tags, save a bundle, get two hunts instead of one and sfill the freezer. Can't eat horns or antlers.

Yep and you can hunt trophy doe as well, look for nice little horns on them, just make sure of no cheek patch.
