Those AAD caps look nice though.

That's what I've been using for the last 10-15 years and they work great, you just have to make sure they don't end up in the grass where you're sitting. I picked up a set of Defenders tonight and the rubber is much more pliable than the BCs so they're easier to get on/adjust. High hopes for these but thank you for the link to the AADMOUNTs too.....

Always liked black bikini's - classy looking smile , they make a nice looking necklace and are hard to lose that way .

I picked this set up for an Athlon ARES 4.5-27x50 and went with the E10/O50 set and they fit great. I'll be trying the E10/O44 on my LRHSi and will report back on the fit......

Try to find an old inner tube for a car tire and cut yourself a rubber band to stretch over the scope.
Lift the back end and the thing just flies off.
Extras are cheap, so just carry one along.

I tried the Vortex on both lenses and apparently they tend to get a memory to the rubber and stop gripping tight. When I first got them they were nice and snuck, but now they're lose and want to come off when I try to open them.
