That is a great price! I have heard nothing but good things about this scope and will probably end up putting one on my 7-08AI that I am having built right now.

So the 3-12 and 4.5-18 are same weight? ~28oz?

Any ideas why the oddball ticks at 1.25 and 1.5 windage? Not knocking it, just wondering why?

Any complaints? Talk me out of buying one... Seems it'd be pretty handy on my xCTR 6.5 CM. Anyone have a side by side with a SWFA 3-9?

Reference point for movers in competition. Wouldn’t want to talk you out of one. At the prices Doug is offering them, the best scope for the $ available.

Would like to point out that even though not shown as such by Bushnell, the illuminated version’s reticle is bolder than the non-illuminated’s. For me it’s been plenty visible even at last legal shooting light. If you’re going to be hunting with it, I would recommend the illuminated version even if you’re not going to turn the illumination on. That being said, if you do want to use the illuminated reticle, Bushnell did it right. On the lowest settings in low light, just barely visible and on the brightest setting in bright light, just barely visible. As long as you’ve chosen the illumination setting correctly, it doesn’t wash out the image at all.

John.

Just to be sure, the LRTS 3-12 is 24?

Mine was the non-illuminated 3-12 LRST and it was just under 26 oz at 25.7 oz on my scale.

Sorry I didn't capture the weight on the scale that well but its there I promise:

Yes, we expect the delivery next week. We have yet to post this sale or do an e-mail blast. It was just mentioned on 3 or 4 forums in a similar to post to this one.
We are accepting pre-orders while we are awaiting the delivery. Once they arrive, if we have not taken pre-orders enough to sell them all we will do a full announcement.

Please feel free to give us a call to get one ordered. We are VERY pleased to be able these scopes for only $749.99

Doug and Scotty hooked me up! Illuminated.

Guys, this coming winter I may need some assistance explaining the utility of this purchase over a snowblower as the wife shovels snow.... whistle

Bushnell’s track record with various product lines has convinced me not to waste time figuring out whether or not a particular scope is good or Chinese junk. I’m sure some if not many of the experts on the Fire will take issue with that. Just buy good stuff to begin with. Jmo

Indeed it does. For some reason it barely shows up on my TV (where I posted it from) but on the phone its much easier to see.....go figure. Oh well still helps folks to know they are more like 27 oz instead on 24 oz. That said at that price they are a heck of a nice setup and I am trying to restrain from getting another one from Doug in case I dislike the new NX8 that is on preorder still. frown

Hate to be the grouch, but I'm beginning to think the market for decent hunting scopes of low to medium power, size and weight is drying up. Weaver's done, Leupold's.... well Leupold, and all emphasis is on the LR stuff. Not in need of any right now, but wonder what's gonna be around when I am.

Not fussing about these; they look great, and good stuff, from anyone, is always welcome and interesting.
