I too am exceedingly proud to be an American and proud to have served 29 years in law enforcement trying to protect the citizens of the city/community I lived in. I am celebrating the Fourth of July this morning by participating in the Second Amendment! I am "setting-up" a mint condition Remington 700 VLS (heavy barrel laminated stock blued - American made) that I bought just yesterday (July 3rd) up Butte, Montana way. I have precisely aligned the Leupold rings (American made) and then carefully lapped them with a Haydon ring lapping tool (American made) - next I mounted a Leupold 6.5x20 variable scope (American made). After lunch today I will use my Leupold bore sighting optic tool (American made) to bore sight it. As soon as I get a non-windy chance to sight it in I will be shooting the only 6m/m Remington ammo I could find (Remington 100 grain PSP - also American made!) to test fire it and get it on paper. Unable to find any 6m/m Remington brass in bulk yesterday - so will use these 20 rounds of soon to be once fired brass to do some load development! Yeah what a great way to celebrate the birth of our nation! Long live the Second Amendment and long live the United States of America. Happy Birthday America.
