Are you going to kiln dry anything?
No, these will all be natural/slow dry.

I'd like to hear how you minimize warpage.

There's a number of guys here that gave me good advice on doing this.
I'm stacking the milled lumber on 31"x104" pallets, fully stickered. They will then be strapped together using plastic banding strap, in a unit.
These will be wrapped with tarp, and placed in the shade of the tree line to dry.

I’ve heard it takes a year or so to air dry, and you have to seal the ends? A local custom mill does kiln dried, but I guess it a art depending on the species to keep it from warping. Another local mill does cedar and tamarack for siding and fence, but they air dry it similar to what you’re doing. I’ve always wanted to build a house with lumber I milled myself.

Two guys I know here with mills, built rooms for kiln drying; not sure what their propane costs are. Metal banders aren't cheap either.

Stickers are pieces of wood used to separate and support the layers of boards in the stack.
I use 1x1's cut from the marginal pieces of the log, or in this first batch, I just cut the log up in 1" thick slabs , then took all the pieces put them back together and turned them 90* on the saw bed to cut them to 1x1"x 102. These were then cut to 31" long so they were the full width of the pallet.

These provide air space for moisture to escape, and allow one to band the boards all together to keep them straight while they dry.

Cool set up.. I was gonna suggest strip stacking to aid in drying and warping,, it will also help controll the mold

In the mean time there's a bunch of standing/leaning dead ash trees that need to be salvaged.
