Of decent bourbon, listening to the Outlaws , (haven’t in years) and letting it sink in that my youngest son has proposed to his girlfriend today. He’s 23 and she’s 21 and a keeper . He’s the middle of our 3 kids and the first to be engaged.
I’m happy, surprised ..and not sure what else to say . It’s been 30 years since I proposed to his Mother .

I don't recall much in the way of divorce until the bra burnings in the 70s. Hardly know anyone who hasn't been divorced at least once.
All this equal rights chit has made of mess of marriage.
