This week Noam Chomsky [a subversive professor] said on Democracy Now [a socialist radio show] that Trump is the first grassroots republican President. All the others were crushed [Perot] by the republican leadership. He went on to say Trump will be re elected because the democrats wasted their efforts on Russian collusion when there was nothing there, when they should have focused on substance, like climate change.
Scott Adams [ a pro Trump liberal cartoonist, Dilbert] says that even if you don't believe in climate change, you should help the other half of the country solve their climate change problem by going to nuke power.
I personally do not believe the democrat leadership believes in climate change as a problem to be solved, but rather a political issue to increase socialism.
President Trump has announced that climate change is a hoax. What other leader have been that brave?

He knew how to build and manage an organization. He knew how to make and invest money. And, he was an "outsider" to the swamp.

I'm not a big conspiracy theorist and was deeply disappointed when Perot withdrew from the campaign. Didn't believe it or him at the time. But now? After seeing what political operatives have tried to do to Trump, and Kavanaugh, including the subversion of the intel agencies against him? Makes Perot's stated reasons for pulling out a lot more believable.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Perot had good fortune in business. He knew he couldn't win the election and never sought to primary GHWB. Since he couldn't get that he chose to run as an independent. When his campaign caught on and it looked like he might just get elected he quit. His ideas resonated with the people and Trump made good use of some of them for his campaign. People are tired of business as usual and politicians doing it their way. We are drowning in debt and the democrat party has embraced full on communism. I believe his goal was to disrupt Bush's election and he did a wonderful job of it. His antics got bill Clinton elected and forever changed our country.

Perot's ego put Clinton in the White House and gave us all the fallout from Hillary and Bill. Yep. Ross talked a good game, but in the end he had no chance of winning and just siphoned off votes from Bush. Pretty much the way it works with 3rd party candidates every time. They get a few votes from people who wouldn't vote otherwise and more from the major candidate closest to their views. George Wallace might be an exception to that, but then 1968 was a crazy election.

President Trump has announced that climate change is a hoax. What other leader have been that brave? You mean that dumb? Climate change has been PROVEN beyond all reasonable doubt. Regardless of what we may disagree with the Democrats on, it is an issue that needs to be dealt with. It's like the jerk down the road telling you the sky is blue, as much as you want to argue, it's still blue.

It's like the jerk down the road telling you the sky is blue, as much as you want to argue, it's still blue. Climate change has been proven? That's like saying "gravity has been proven". Climate "change" is a given; the climate is always changing. The issue is whether carbon dioxide (man is the major contributor) causes or will cause catastrophic global warming. That has not been proven and there is every reason to believe that claim is not true. But even if it is proven true, the solution is to let technology solve the problem, not have government elites ration energy.
