OP stiff Campfire Member S Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 111 NE,ILL.	Anybody have one?Looking to get one for my2015 f-150 xl 4x4,would like it mounted on the grill somehow.Can you turn them on and off like bright lights?The last 5 miles to my hunting spot is dark with critters crossing the road,Thanks

The are LED versions, and work on trucks - they come with a relay setup just like headlights to keep the power cord runs short. Spot shooter www.prairiefireprecision.com

While mounting higher makes them even more effective for your uses (driving lights), the glare reflecting off the hood sucks and if they're overhead, low branches can be a problem. I set mine up with a Warn relay kit and somewhat heavier wire that recommended to the lights after the provided wiring overheated and dropped molten plastic on my buddy's clutch foot in his truck. They’re wired into the factory Ford up fitter switches on the dashboard. Bright mofos and great for call outs that have us on a jobsite after dark. Last edited by TheKid; 07/10/19.

That’s what I need like Huntsman has I don’t have a big bumper like that to mount it to,I’ll have to figure out how to get one in there somehow.Can you turn them off and on if there’s oncoming traffic without hurting them if they are hot?Thanks

It's wired into the high-beam circuit, and only comes on when the high beams are used. An unemployed Jester, is nobody's Fool. the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. Didn't come with a cover so I cut a piece of 4" plastic pipe to fit it and painted it black. Stretches over the light and snaps on. Didn't want to bust it with the rocks they put on the roads here in the winter. Bright as hell. That's the light cover between the two Warn round lights. looks like a big bar on the bumper unless you look close.
