Any first hand experience with sako compact even? Curious how it would compare to a Remington Mtn rifle...

I went with the Game Hunter, myself. I like the higher comb and the vertical pistol grip.

I really like the Hunter stock. I have several of them and just can't find anything I don't like about them for a hunting rifle. They work well from a host of field positions. Pretty good at handling recoil too. I just received mine for a Tikka, and I wouldn't change a thing if I were to do it all over again.

I've sure been pleased with the Hunters Edge stock on my SL 7mm-08.

There are few choices for left hand actions.

I guess I'll have to stick with the factory stock.
