Fished yesterday and today and caught a few Crappie and Bluegill. These are from today and are going in the frying pan shortly. Mama is roasting asparagus and new potatoes as I type this.

Not monsters, but two of those Crappie were over 11.5", which is pretty dang good for around here. I ended up bringing home eight Crappie and three good sized Bluegill today. Don't know how many I released.

Mine was great. Wife and I celebrated 28 years of wedded bliss yesterday.

Ha, I did some fishing too. Nothing big but it was fun.

Wish i could have spent the weekend fishing.

Last night about 11:00 my daughter in law was coming home and a black horse ran in front of her car.

The car and the horse are dead but she just had to have 5 staples in her fore head at the hair line.

The thing that makes me so mad is that the sob that had the horse at his place has a history of animals getting out.

Years ago my wife ran over one of his goats.

I do not like little mexico at all.

Some storms nearby.
The old lady and middle kid finished putting in the flowers/landscape around the front porch.
I did minor shovel duty and mowed the yard.
All with a massive headache (sinus/allergies).
90+ degrees.

I did run off to the local farm store and buy a bag target for my bow and some 9mm.
Dunno if I'll feel good enough to shoot tomorrow morning when cool.

Kayaked about 6 miles on the upper Ouachita river on Saturday with good friends. Weather wasn't terribly hot (high 80's) but, warm enough that swimming breaks were very enjoyable. Then ate supper at the Dairyette (yes they still exist) in Mt. Ida. Sunday was a dreary rainy day. Went to church and the GF (who is way to good for me but, for some reason thinks she's the lucky one) made a big ole pot of chicken and dumplins.
