UPDATE: So I finally completed my task, with a big thank you to a Leupold phone rep for making this happen. Just couldn't find 30 mm DD Gloss mounts anywhere. While on the phone with rep he was thinking how to make it happen and told me what to buy and what he would sent me to make a set that would work . So i now have 30 mm DD Gloss mounts on my new Winchester and a Gloss scope from Cameraland, who were excellent to work with too. So Walnut and Gloss scope and rings. It Really took some doing and would have been easy to change the plan but glad i didn't. Sweet it is.

Details of how you made it happen? Okay so here are the details, as i said while talking to the Leupold rep. He told me to buy part # 49960, which is std.30mm gloss rings. ( i already had them from thinking i could make them work) He also said to buy part # 50045 which is gloss d.d. bases. Ordered from Natchez. He then sent me a d.d. ring bottom in gloss to make up a set. For free i might add. I got lucky that day getting him on the phone and him really wanting to help me get my rifle set up just how i wanted. Thanks Mr. Leupold phone rep.

Good on Leupold!
Leupold Customer Service has always treated me extremely well. It is one of the main reasons I am reluctant to beat on Leupold. That said, I use most all of my scopes "set and forget." So if they will not fog and maintain zero I'm pretty happy. I'm not sure I'd rely on them to dial well.
I DO NOT like the looks of the new Freedom line!
