How long has your business been around Doug? I bought a Leitz Trinovid 10x40 binocular back in 1985 or so, still have it. All I remember is I mail-ordered it based on an ad in a hunting magazine, from a camera dealer in New York. Might have been CameralandNY. I've bought several more items in the years since, as I've been here on 24HCF since 2004, and will continue to do so.

Camera Land opened in 1957. We moved out of NYC about 5 years ago out to Long Island. We were able to move into a bigger space allowing for an on premises classroom where, pre-Covid, we hold Saturday morning photo chat sessions as well as offering a couple of photo classes a week (introduction to photography, lighting, understanding your digital camera, etc.). We hope to be getting back to that shortly. We have also reached out to some of the optics companies about hosting classes on Digiscoping, General riflescope knowledge, choosing the right binocular, etc.

It's also been a great life change for all of us not having the insane commute. All in all a great move for us.

Thanks for answering my question Doug. Glad to hear things are going well at your new location. PS I pulled out my warranty file and found the original documents for my Trinovids. I bought them from Wall Street Camera Exchange. I don't know if they're still around, but must have been a competitor of your company back then (1985). Wish I would have known about Cameraland in those pre-internet days!
