I faced up to it a long time ago the United States as we know is over - it's the whites that made it great not the dirt we stand on . Serbs, Croats, and Ukrainians are white. Not really. Not by the definitions the Founders used. For them, it was pretty much English, Scots, Dutch, and Germans. They did not consider southern and Eastern Europeans to be if the same stock, regardless of actual skin color. Not the founding stock of America, of course, but it would be absurd to suggest that the people of the recognized birthplace of the European Renaissance, Italy, were somehow not quite European.

What does being European have to do with a fundamentally English country? America was an English country at its founding and as recently as the early 1960s was over 70 percent composed of people descended from those of English ancestry. It would be hard to find, historically speaking, government more fricked up than that practiced in Italy.

You might be right about that, but Italy's Interior Minister, Matteo Salvini, is doing a good job putting his foot down on mass Third World immigration into his nation. Likely a better job than Trump.
