Though I have a Model 97 shotgun made in 1914, my oldest rifle is a Model 94 in 30 Win made in 1906. This one was passed down from my Grandfather to my Dad and to me.

Next would be my Newton rifle made in 1916. What's your oldest rifle?

A Ruger Tanger in 30-06. Many rifles bought after but its still the one by which others are judged. It shoots 2 in about the same hole and the 3rd to the right about 3/4 of an inch without a cool down. A 10 round group would probably be ugly. Its been a great hunting rifle for me.

Hunting rifle is about 125 years old. Oldest rifle is just shy of 150. Newest is 20 years old.

A Winchester M92 in .25-20 from the early 1900's. Step-dad's father's rifle that is fun to shoot, but shoot what? Too little for deer and too big for squirrels.

My other auto is a .45

Relatively speaking, mine aren't that old but I have a Marlin 336, BLR, and Rem 742 that all were manufactured in 1971. Those are my oldest rifles.

A 1906 version of the Swede above still bearing a chopped military barrel. It will consistently do clover leafs. Intended it to be a truck gun, but it now lives with other treasures in the safe.

The oldest rifle in the house is an 1886 in 45-70 built in 1890. My oldest hunting rifles, at least the actions, are two 1947 M70s.

Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. They are mostly making shidt up. Crunch! Nite-nite!

I have a Mannlicher Schoenauer 1908 8x56. I'm not sure of the manufacture date but it has to be after 1908 and before 1939. Also a WR Pape 256 Mannlicher, on a Dutch Mannlicher. I'm not sure but it has to be close to or slightly over 100 years old. Everything else, is from slightly newer than these two on up to current production.

Off the top, I think my 1899 H in 22HiPower is my oldest at 1912. It's wearing a 1912 Malcolm 3X scope. Still shoots minute of deer's neck.

Bbear isn’t that a model 64?

My oldest is a Winchester model 1894 in .30 WCF, given to my grandfather on his 12th birthday in 1912.
