you'd be surprised. i do a big church breakfast a couple times a year and there are grown men who just throw the whole pound of bacon on the flattop in a pile and start stirring it around. thats generally when i push them out of the way and do it myself. i have one of these that i use at my camp. highly recommend. does everything great from bacon to eggs to burgers to steaks https://www.gopresto.com/product/presto-tiltndrain-biggriddle-cool-touch-griddle-07046
