I always liked Timothy Dalton, "License to kill" and "The Living Daylights". The stories were a little weak, but I thought he was a pretty good Bond. For me he's just below Connery and above Bronsnon and Moore. I don't care for Craig for some reason. Too dark and brooding, I guess.
But let's get down to brass tacks here. There are three things involved in every James Bond movie that draw men in, and one thing for women.
Men like the action, the gadgets and the Bond Girls. Ladies like the handsome, sexy James Bond.
A female Bond writes off two of the four without a second glance. Pretty damn stupid to mess with a winning formula on account of PC or anything else. But then lately, Hollywood hasn't exactly been considered a cerebral capital!

James Bond begin with Sean Connery and ended with Roger Moore...........period. I'll always give Connery a light nod, but Moore was every bit a good Bond as well.
It is somewhat sickening to replace Bond with a woman, and a Negro one at that. It is a reflection of the world we are living in today. If you want to have a female agent, she should be good looking, which means a White woman, not an ugly azz African.

Bad plot. Then there was the end to The Spy Who....... How can you screw up a movie with Kurt Jurgens for gosh sakes????

I actually liked Dalton but the Brosnon movies just had crappy writing and plots. Who can forget George Lazenby? Moonraker was the suckiest of all of them though. The Craig movies (as my wife dubs him "The Psyco Bond"} I do like.

Apparently they’re remaking Ghostbusters again after the first remake bombed.
If it does well, it’s because of the patriarchy.
They’ll do the same with Bond. If this one bombs, they’ll still keep the franchise going, but the broad will be gone.
