Looking at getting some new binoculars. The monarch 5 and prostaff 7s are both in my price range. Can't find any locally to look through to compare the two. Which one is the better deal if going to order based on magazine article reviews.

I have monarch 3 10x42 from 10+ years ago that has served me well. I got my daughter monarch 7 8x30. I steal them when she’s not with me. Big difference
If I’m going to upgrade my binocs to 10x42 ill probably get tract. They have some demos at monarch prices .
The new Meopta Optika looks to be great for the money and 50$ off coupon
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

Have a pair of Swaro 10x coming as a very appreciated gift. I’ve got a couple 10x42 Nikons 3s. I’d part with one pair anyway still in the box of interested.

The Nikon 7's are the best in that group. I have some and they are very good.

I have a set of the Prostaffs. Very disappointed. My $100 Leupold Yosemites are way clearer and crisper.

You may wish to consider the new Meopta Optika6 10x42. I think you'll find that at $299.99 these will quickly become a go to binocular
