They are at renegade50's house. They've been there 3 days, 3 small trees cut, 11 more to go.

Laffing laugh crazy

He can't go anywhere, has to hang around and wait for them because he has 14 fuggin dogs in his backyard.

They keep telling him, yeah man we'll be there in the morning, show up at 2 o'clock, or not at all. haha

But he's getting such a good deal, $400. Which if no ones dies or drops a log through his roof might be the deal of the decade. I think they're all Aryian Nation convicts.

They have left their Scooby Doo van, trailer and 8 delipidated chainsaws in his driveway. Wife is bitching,(nothing new for her) yard is a wasteland, and he's having to help them the whole time.

He, out of the goodness of his heart of gold payed them half yesterday. Probably still hungover.

Stay tuned for more updates. laugh

I told him to send em on out here, I have a tree for them, sound like my old roofing crew- I know how to communicate with them. 👍

if'n the group manager ain't sitting in his pickup truck in the shade popping cans of bud, they got the wrong leader.

tree service people can be like a herd of cats, hard to herd until ya figure it out.

which is to say, they're just independent as hell, and so be it.

Funny you should bring this up. A nice old fella in the neighborhood lost his shop to reckless tree cutters. They tried to lay three big old pine trees down alongside his shop whole instead of taking them down in pieces. They were good for the first two but put the last one right in the middle of his shop where it wrecked everything including a pickup. They are insured and he is getting a new shop but has to go through the process with the insurance etc.

tree cutters are a notoriously unreliable and sketchy bunch. i just had a "crew" come and drop a big old hollow red oak at my camp. pulled up in a beat to schits dodge neon with no exhaust. crazy tattoo dude doing the climbing and real sketchy ground man with that just-outta-the-pen vibe. old drunk lady who sat in the car the whole time on her phone cackling with someone about some gibberish. did a decent job but i was sweating it until they had it on the ground. 500 bucks. cash. and a few miller lites.

I just called him said they showed up at 5:20. Theyre 'jumping off' on multiple jobs most likely.

Ren's got them dragging all the brush and filling his 'mini-grand canyon' back yard.

Perfect snake harborage. hahahahaha

They only been here since yesterday
Back yard looks like the tunguska explosion right now.

13 trees for 425
One 60ft black walnut
Buncha stupid chinese black persimmons
2 hickory trees.
Bout 32 ft of the black walnut from 24 to 18 inches.
Told dude he could have it and I hope he gets top dollar for it.
He has yarborough logging coming to get the fugging thing.
I can deal with it all for 425 bucks.
Yesterday the back of their truck looked like the island of broken toys.
Musta been 8 or 9 broken saws of various types from 1985 forward.
Fugg it I been out their helping also
I ain't one to not participate.
If he had an extra saw that worked I could buck logs and zip em up into 18 inch lenghts.
Some low budget neighbor wants all the firewood
They have about 12 cord in their back yard from the wind storm about 3 weeks ago and all the schitt these guys have cut up for people in the neighborhood since.

Yesterday I kinda took over the crew to get schitt done.
Even gave him a paint pen to mark mix gas cans.

That great debate of who put what into what went on for about 20 minutes.

Boss dude looked at me like I was einstein when I told him to mark cans to advoid confusion.......
Out their right now with that can.
It's been an interesting....

Dudes about schit their pants yesterday when I pulled out my bersa combat plus .380 from my back pocket to show it off.
They was amazed it had 16 shots( i think slightly scared and wtf actially)
One dude asked you been carrying that all day.

Said i always carry. Dont think nothing of it just second nature.

Crackheads or not,...if they'll cut that many trees for $425 they should be able to work themselves to death.

We got one big ass cottonwood directly on the west side of our house. That is the direction the really strong winds come from. It provides nice shade but I'm concerned it might drop on the house some time.

It is branched out so many ways, including over the roof, that I'm concerned about tackling it myself. I have not had it quoted but around here people are saying minimum $2500 for a tree like that. eek

I’ve knifed a few trees in my day for firewood and pulled a few questionable big trees with a truck from hitting a power line also been involved with some tree toppings around a house it’s not that complicated if one takes his time and does it safely
