Hello all,
I've been a custom knife maker for a while and have spent the last 5 years being self taught and very dedicated on learning leather work.
I am a big guy and built myself a gun belt that believe it or not is too big for me.
This belt meausres 50-56". It is made from premium Wicket & Craig 8 oz leather and the bullet loops (15 loops) are made with self harvested cape buffalo leather. All of the leather is fully lined so there is no flesh or rough side of the leather showing. The loops are made to fit .357 Mag but Cape buff hide is elastic enough, the loops will fit many different calibers. I'm sure 30-30 through the 30-06 line will fit fine but will see for sure before you buy it. the main body of the belt is 2.5" and the buckle straps are 1.5". If you would like a matching holster to go with the belt, I'd be happy to build you one for additional $ ($150-$200 ish for the holster) if I have a gun availible to use as a pattern.
The belt is $250 shipped and has never been worn more than trying on. Belt is 100% New. If you get the belt and don't like it or it doesn't fit, send it back for a full refund. Please feel free to ask any questions. The belt is cross posted in other forums.
Here is a sample of a Western holster I built for a Ruger Vaquero.
Thanks for looking,
Todd
