Don, that's it....actually looks like 24 1/2". I've been told that Lothar Walther supplied the barrels.

What does one get when some very good features from a Mauser and Mod. 70 action are combined with a very good barrel? A Dakota 76 action with a Lothar Walther barrel and all for under a grand. That bottom metal looks like my two screw one piece bottom metal from Ted Blackburn. Mine holds four in the magazine, does this one?
If I didn't already have a custom Mod. 70 in .338 Winny I would be all over this. I easily have more into my rifle then this one is selling for. It is going to sell fast.

I owned this exact rifle in a 270 some years ago and it was fantastic. It was also a tack driver. This is a great sporting weight hunting rifle and it won’t disappoint. As many of you know Biebs is a first class guy.

Noted gunsmith James Anderson saw I was selling this rifle. He said he worked at Dakota at the time, and helped develop the Mato for Beretta. He designed the stock for Bell & Carlson, and it was later used for the Remington TI series. It has an aluminum bedding block. He said Stuart Satterlee, the gunmaker, assembled the rifles at Dakota for shipping. Small world.!
