I have a wide head. I'm looking for sunglasses that fit my wide head. I'm looking to spend less than $75/pair. I'm looking around online and not really finding what I want. I like Oakleys wraparound style - they work for me. I can get some Gascans for about $65 on Amazon but not wanting to get burned with fakes that will break in 2 months at the bridge. Thoughts?
My company issues Wiley X for safety use in the field. For: Big Head, Wrap, Sub $100, I can't imagine anything to compete with the Wiley X Titan. Plus, they meet MIL, ANSI and OSHA standards.
You can no more tell someone how to do something you've never done, than you can come back from somewhere you've never been...
I, at one time, had health & Safety responsibility for groups of folks working in very remote areas at a large variety of tasks, some almost as dangerous as ranching and farming. {NO irony intended or implied}. I only raised my voice when some fool was not wearing his safety glasses. I can stabilize a sucking chest wound or a femur jammed into the abdominal space but a penetrating eye injury not corrected quickly usually results in blindness. When I delivered my orientation lecture to the troops I emphasized the risk of an eye injury above all others. Eyes and hands are always at risk and impossible to replace.
I hate to be a buzzkill on a Saturday night [not really] but you live a high risk lifestyle in a remote setting and I am an old scold.

Stab them in the taint, you can't put a tourniquet on that. Craig Douglas ECQC
They run $24-25 per box which holds a dozen pairs. Optically good, light weight and comfortable. They are available in Dark , Mirrored, Mocha, and various tints. 15 shades I believe. Order online, or most welding supply stores carry them
Lots of guys wear only these, but I recently bought a bit more expensive pair that is polarized.
This is not hard. Run down to Walmart and buy some Foster Grants. Get the kind that have a hinge that allows the glasses to bend outward with your head. Very comfortable for all head sizes and Foster Grants are Ray Ban quality without the cost. Less than $20. Just about any style you want.
About the only time I go to Walmart is to buy sunglasses. Look in the fishing area. They have glasses for under $5.00 so if you break them who cares. But so far I haven't broken any and being polarized they are great for fishing. Oh, and they do fit my fat head.
Sunglasses help against cataracts. It may not be a big thing now but it may be when they start slicing your eye open.
I have a pretty good sized jug. I once went to a motorcycle shop and asked about a helmet. The owner said if it fits you can have it for my cost. I stuck it on my head and said I'll take it. He came over to check and just said dman, sold. I think it was a 7-3/4. Aside from the numbers, the shape of your head makes a difference. Having rambled on about that I use these.
