This one is still in NH, but will now be toted by a 16 year old who shall henceforth keep his damn hands off my 7600 carbine!

This thread dates back to 2013 when I was looking for a bolt action 35 Rem. I never found one at the right time/price. Last year I decided to have one made. Shaw MVII stainless 21" barrel. Months later I received the rifle. I put a Meopro 6x42 on the rifle. The rifle shoots very well with Federal 200 grain ammo. I blooded the rifle this morning. The deer was facing me slightly quartering The bullet entered the left front, angling toward the opposite shoulder. The bullet exited the right side ribs. The deer never took a step.

Nice looking rifle in a really good woods gun. Congratulations on your first deer with it. When you can try some Hornady 200gr FTX. They do really well on deer.

I found one in my gunsafe in a 600. Shoots well.

Not sure why I keep it though.
