2000-3000. Probably closer to 3000k, I am just guessing though.
I knew a guy that had one. He died and I wonder what ever happened to it.

I'd say closer to 3K. Had a regular one, 6", 44 Mag, that I let go for $1200-$1400 over 10 years ago. A few years later they were already up to $1800-$2000. Still kick myself for letting it go. At least I kept the Python.
I believe it was a factory option in camo and remember there being a high premium for them. There weren't a lot of them made and it was a relatively short run.

My dad bought one at a DU banquet back when they were new. High bid at $200! Not much call for a 44 mag in Sw Ok back then I guess. Then the dickhead that was running the banquet took it and wouldn’t let him do the paperwork and have the gun.

2 punks tried to burgle a home while the owner was in the hospital. But he wasn't. He answered the door and one had a gun, the other a bat and they threatened him. He had a camo Anaconda and popped the closest guy. The other tried to flee and was hit in the knee. Think he lost the leg. Dumbazz #1 head almost came off, cop told me he had a golf ball sized hole straight through the neck, could see daylight through it.

Have not seen the camo version for about 2 yrs. Had a couple pop up at gunshops, consignment. Can't remember the price. One did not have the scope.

A friend who owned a small gun shop back in the early 90's had one in his display case for a long time. He offered it to me for $400 because no one seemed to be interested in it. Back then I was on a pretty tight budget and couldn't swing it. Looking back, I wish I had found some way to scrape the money together.
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

I think if your dad had mentioned documenting with the local sheriff pursuant to possible legal action, he'd have gotten the gun. Sumbitches! It's wasn't your dad's fault the gun didn't bring more.
