What will happen when this (POS) “law” reaches the Supreme Court ? No due process ? What recourse do the victims (targeted gun owners) have ? Who makes the decision to confiscate ? What if the police hurt someone or damage property in the process of confiscation ? What happens when an angry ex spouse or neighbor “Red Flags” someone out of spite ? What happens if they take someone’s self defense firearm, and then he/she get attacked ? Too, too many questions that cannot be answered. I predict this law will not survive the courts.
What if you no longer can get to the higher court? Have you considered that if they can kill you because you have a gun they don't want you to have, they can kill you because you hold a belief they don't what you to have. Due process is gone, so you want the court to give it back??? Is that likely? And lets just say the court agrees with you, but the cops don't. Do you think the cops, when they are given carte blanche to harm and kill, are going to give back any of that power?
People need to wake up and realize this is an open and direct act of war. .

We got it stuffed down our throats in IL by our demo trimvirate of house, Senate and gov. I think soon we will be the most gun unfriendly, regulated state of all.

My mind is a bit twisted this morning. It'd be hilarious if the NRA helped craft red flag legislation then turned around and had it challenged in court.

One hopes, but we were certain Obamacare would go down in flames in the SCOTUS, too.
IF Red Flag law ever happens and that's a big if, it may never make it to the Supreme Court. Remember who is chief justice thanks to GWB. And if he schedules it who is to say that it will be rejected by a majority? Kavanaugh has been more liberal than conservative in his judgements since they handed his head to him in the conformation hearing.
Roberts has almost never voted the constitution instead favoring the liberal view. The ultra liberals on the court will never abandon their ideology but the so called conservatives pride themselves on their occasional liberal leanings. About the only person I trust on the court is Justice Thomas.

Oddly, the Witch might actually have been better on guns, because she doesn't pretend to be our friend, and clearly wants to take them. This would result in a filling up of the House and Senate with stalwart defenders of the RTKABA to stop her every effort in that regard. Gun rights people tend to fall asleep when there's a Republican in the White House. When there's a Democrat, they tend to burn up the phone circuits in Congress any time there's even a hint of anti-gun legislation being considered.

16 states already have red flag laws. Red flag laws are wrong on so many levels. We would be at the mercy of wicked neighbors in-laws and capricious judges.
