Alright guys. I have lost about 30 lbs since March of this year. My camp (under armor) was big in me when I bought it (room to grow lol). Wanting to upgrade this year by starting with base layers, then mid weight and finally cold weather gear. Need recommendations on Kuiu, Sitka and first light as I don’t own any quality clothing as of now. Primarily hunt whitetail from a stand with some spot and stalk in central Kentucky and middle Tn
Now therefore take , I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison ;

And the Wrangler fleece lined pants are legit for tree stands and cold work around the house!

First Lite has been awesome for me.
The puffy jacket & pants would be amazing in a tree stand. For stand hunting and spot & stalk I really enjoy the layering.
It’s not quite as pricey as Sitka or Kuiu but well worth the investment. I have no experience w/ those others so can’t speak to their performance; the merino performance was the reason I went First Lite and I’ve stuck with it after less than ideal performance from synthetics.

Check out Kings Camo clothes. Much better line than BP/Kablamas. They have some awesome camo patterns. I hunt here in GA and elk in NM and their mountain shadow blends fantastic. Well made clothes and they, like Kuiu, cutd out the middle man, hence, the price is $ instead of $$$. https://www.kingscamo.com/

If you hike a lot then the Sitka pants are worth the price. The rest of the stuff can come from Walmart but nobody has matched the pants yet.
