... And discussing current events, mostly the government's most recent promises of autonomy for all Indian tribes.
Cochise asked Geronimo, "Given the government's willingness to protect us on reservations... why do you need so many arrows..?"

That reminds me of something. I just read a book by S.M. Barrett about Geronimo. It was a pretty good read, he sure didn't care for Mexicans. It was written late in Geronimo's life, the author sat down and did interviews with him. You can get the PDF version here. https://www.ibiblio.org/ebooks/Geronimo/GerStory.pdf

No problem, I had never read anything about Geronimo specifically and found it a good read. I know there are some on here interested in history and figured I would post it.

It's been a long time since I read Life Among The Apaches by John C. Cremony, but I believe he wrote that when he questioned why they hated Mexicans so much they replied that God had put Mexicans on the earth for Apaches to kill. That would have been before Geronimo's time, but when they murdered most of his family, it is understandable why he wouldn't like them too much. L.W.

Maybe Geronimo's territory was "invaded" by Mexicans - a politically incorrect concept.

Geronimo was a great warrior. One to be reckoned with.

He seemed to be a man of his word, unfortunately most white authorities of his time weren’t.
