I wish her a long and spectacular career. She's the best, and still getting better.
Spectacular maybe, but in a sport that hard on the body, very few at that level last long. The Olympics are next year. We'll see how she goes.
Someone mentioned trannies taking over women's gymnastics. I highly doubt it. Men have more strength in their shoulders and the men's events are designed to take advantage of it. The women's events have more speed and grace, with more flips and bounces. I doubt a man could keep up.

She is small because small girls do better. Remember way back when, Mary Lou Retton. She was about 4 foot 9. A small figure can more easily do the flips and spins. Less body mass to flip around. You will never see a top notch gymnast who is 5 foot 8. Ballerina maybe, but not a gymnast.
Read up on the difference between fast twitch and slow twitch muscles. She has about the highest concentration of fast twitch that I've ever seen. On the average, blacks tend to have more fast twitch muscle fibers than whites. That makes them quicker with more explosive power - like her. However, they burn out faster and aren't as good at sports that require more endurance. Blacks excel at sports like football that require explosive power but they get to rest between plays. Whites, with their larger numbers of slow twitch, are better at endurance sports like soccer where they never quit running.

However, they burn out faster and aren't as good at sports that require more endurance. Blacks excel at sports like football that require explosive power but they get to rest between plays. Whites, with their larger numbers of slow twitch, are better at endurance sports like soccer where they never quit running.
Doesn't explain power sports, where whites dominate. I think it is more leverages, skeletal proportions.

Yes well, you should have seen my Freshman girl, Miss Francie S. 34C 24 36 This was at a small conservative college in central Georgia. Francie was from Florida. I learned that Florida girls were pretty wild. Ah, yes.
