When the APA classifies people that kill innocent people, or others that wish to have body parts surgically removed to help satisfy their mental issues, the cease to have any credibility as any kind of "scientific" organization and become yet one more liberal political organization.

The APA is based and founded on the innate ramblings and psychotics of Sigmund Freud. He is the font from which all the bullshit flows.

My first collegiate advisor was head of the Psych department. She got in a car wreck and basically didn't work/got paid for "dealing" with her ordeal. My very first encounter through talking over my classes to get my degree, she said she couldn't handle the stress.
I made my own schedule for the next three and a half years.

Psychologists and their "science" need many bullets to the many heads, right after the lawyers.....

Brings to mind an incident several years back where a mother suffering with severe postpartum depression and under a local psychiatrist's care at the time threw her newborn infant into a small off-the-beaten-path lake in a state park and it drowned. Some months later the woman was interviewed on a national TV talk show about the incident. When they started discussing her psychiatrist's lack of concern for the seriousness of her condition that lead to the drowning of her child and she stated his professional title and full name the TV station *Bleeped* it out of the broadcast.

DIAGNOSIS: The APA is delusional - congenitally and deliberately incapable of determining simple realities - do no believe anything said by the APA.

There is a lot of truth in this thread but the bottom line is the bad guys got a lot of y'all looking one way when the action is in the other direction.

Problem is: the APA is who is going to be deciding on which gun owners are sane or not. They don't have a good track record of making good decisions.

My wife is an LPCC. I always remind her that "Frazier" was not a sitcom. It was a reality show...

And of those in their "care" how many whack jobs will they tell police about?

They would prefer to save HIPPAs over people...

There is not one of these incidents where the shooter is not mentally ill or in the process of a mental breakdown. “Assault weapons” are used in a small percentage of them, if they really want to look at numbers. This about an agenda, not about solving a problem.

I hope many here are getting involved in their local Republican party organizations. The necessary "push back" cannot start unless you are involved at the grassroots level.
Writing on here is fine but you need to donate some of your time, talent and money. If you don't, others will, and you may not like the outcome.

One can easily see that the APA is insulating "mental illness" from the narrative and blaming firearms. Our Democrat government here said last week too that we should stop demonizing mental illness and focus on the real problem........................
